Day 106 - Inflation, Stupidity on the Rise

Status: Thinking. Hi, yes, I'm still here, though I've been busy recently, and overwhelmed at the speed with which the Obama Administration has been moving. Unfortunately, the Stimulus (read "Spending") Bill has been passed. [Read/search the bill here]

Apparently, I like getting into political fights on the internet as well, because recently I got into another one. This one was on the aforementioned bill. The thread's title was "Do you believe the Stimulus bill was really bipartisan? I don't.". This lead to a discussion where I got involved. The following transcript occurred: [Thread Viewable Here]

I (tustin2121) said:
Politics! Gah! I don't want to get involved, but....

No, the bill isn't bipartisan, but the Dems WANT it to be bipartisan so that when it fails, they can blame Republicans. (Note: not "if" it fails, but when, because spending several billion dollars will, if already hasn't, cause major inflation, which is BAD for the economy. If there were tax cuts in there, there won't be when they're done with it. And I know they're gonna try and slip in a few things that Republicans should hate too.)

Step outside sir.

You *Punches tustin* will not *backhand* talk utter *knees Tustin in the face* crap in economic *crushes Tustin's nose* terms *final punch* again.

As you can see, economic ignorance is something that makes me deeply angry.
I responded:
Excuse me?! Economic Crap?! What makes me economically ignorant? PLEASE point out my flaws instead of simply beating me up! This isn't a counter argument, it's violence (albeit fake violence, but you get the point).

Also, if you're going to quote me, quote my entire statement, thank you. You seemed to have left out a vital part of my argument...
Person B responded:
Indeed he did. He's right though.
tustin2121:
because spending several billion dollars will, if already hasn't, cause major inflation
This is wrong.
I respond:
No it isn't. Listen: money only has a certain value if a) it is backed by something of real value (eg Gold) or b) it is limited in quantity in proportion to all the goods in the market. Money by itself does not have any value; the paper bill has no intrinsic value, and most coins now a days are made of worthless pot-metal.

If there's more money in the system then there is value, then the value per money unit (eg. the dollar) drops (simple division here). When the value per dollar drops, people have to pay more dollars to get the same valued item, which is "rising prices", which is "inflation".

MMO designers and managers know this, because they use the same concept in games that have an economy. If there the value of their currency starts to fall, they'll create "gold sinks", which in the games usually are NPC shop owners and the like. When a player pays for something from the gold sink, the gold is taken from the player and taken out of the economy, which keeps the value of the gold from dropping.

Creating a money sink in real life is much much harder, because only the Federal Reserve, and by extension the Government, has the ability (or rather, the interest) to take money out of the system; everyone else wants and needs to use the money.

Therefore, generating money out of nowhere, like the stimulus bill proposes, will flood the market with representations of value (money) when no real value is being produced, and will cause hyper-inflation. QED.
Person B replies:
tustin2121:
Therefore, generating money out of nowhere, like the stimulus bill proposes, will flood the market with representations of value (money) when no real value is being produced, and will cause hyper-inflation. QED.
Oh, I won't argue about a bill I don't know anything about, but your initial post said:
tustin2121:
because spending several billion dollars will, if already hasn't, cause major inflation
and that is plain wrong. Investments can be the way to counteract inflation. I won't argue your poins on the specific bill, 'cause I can't be bothered to research it. But what you wrote there, was very wrong.

As for
tustin2121:
No it isn't. Listen: money only has a certain value if a) it is backed by something of real value (eg Gold) or b) it is limited in quantity in proportion to all the goods in the market. Money by itself does not have any value; the paper bill has no intrinsic value, and most coins now a days are made of worthless pot-metal.
That is wrong too. The world eceonomy runs on one central things today: optimism. I'm not BS'ing here.
I replied:
How can one statement be wrong and the other right when both are saying the same thing? Are we talking in double speak now? In order to spend the 700+ billion dollars, someone has to generate it first. Simply making the money does nothing if it doesn't get spent into the economy. Therefore, they go hand in hand when it comes to this.

[And] Yes, the economy does run on optimism, or as I like to call it, a promise; the promise was that this dollar has value. We run on this optimism because we scrapped the "backed by gold" in the 20's-30's, and we are now scrapping the "proportional value" with this bill. We are breaking the promise that we wouldn't make more representations of value than there is value by making billions of representations of value without making new value (or making very little of it).

Of course, more is to come, but I do think that people are getting slowly dumber as time goes on. This isn't rocket science, and I sure hope I explained the non-rocket-science to them well enough...

Day 90 - "Islam is the Light"

Status: Addressing it finally. I've been holding this back for a little bit now, but I think it's time to show it to the world.

I recently came across this article on FrontPage Magazine entitled "What Islam Isn't". It gives graphic details on how Islam is more than just a Religion, but a freaking full force system. It "has religious, legal, political, economic and military components" with the religious component as just the maiden-head to bring about all the others, to take control. A video was made off of it, that does well to deliver the message:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8789NMWZ9EI

Now I know Correlation does not equal Causation, but given the very strong correlation, maybe its worth a gander? And I know that quite a few Muslims are anything but terrorists and just want to live in peace, but I think that they are simply ignorant of the power that Islamic system is capable of and how the "radicals" use it to take control of places. And while no one will listen to me, I advise that these individuals who simply want peace branch off into a new Religion, based on the teachings of Islam that they hold dear, but without the system of Islam detailed in the article above.

You want proof beyond these statistics? Try this recent discovery: [CrunchGear] A Nintendo DS game was discovered recently to have the EXACT SAME AUDIO as the infamous "Islam is the Light" doll. As the video on the page details, the phrase "Islam is the light" is uttered by this children's toy when the kids are playing with it. The phrase is the ONLY thing distinguishable as speech in the bunches of gibberish babbled by the baby doll (and DS game). Those who pass it off as gibberish need to have their ears cleaned and those that pass is off as "Go into the light" need to realize that "Go" does not have the "S" phoneme in there anywhere! Here lies the Principle "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me."

Day 70 - Waistbands, Gaza, Inhalers, Oh My!

Status: Swamped with stuff. Let's get down to it right away then!

First story of the day: In the morning radio program I listen to (Quinn and Rose), I heard them talk about how one of their listeners hates their new Rescue Inhaler. For those of you who don't know, recently Rescue Inhalers for Asthma Patients had to be replaced because they used CFC's. Now everyone who has their heads screwed on crooked will tell you that CFC's are bad for the Ozone layer (despite the fact that they are heavier than air and therefore cannot reach the ozone layer, but I digress). So now new HFA Inhalers are being prescribed to Asthma victims (I use that term intentionally). The result, "sucky" Inhalers, and not just in how they perform. Users report how they have to use the HFA Inhalers 10 or more times to even get some relief, as compared to the old Inhalers, which most people used once, maybe twice, and felt instant relief. Just take a look at Consumer Reports. The reason for the switch was for the environment, and people are being sent to the ER over it. These Victims need to organize and serve a class action lawsuit... against Al Gore and the EPA. Use the liberal's methods against them!

Second item: This news story, from the Pitt News, the local college newspaper. The article starts out by stating that "Students and professors are decidedly split when it comes to recent events in Gaza". Fine, as the country seems split over it for some unnamed reason. However, what irks me about this article is how they print bullshit:
In [Magid] Shihade's [visiting professor] opinion, the reality is something quite different. Citing unnamed “news and intelligence reports within the country of Israel itself,” he said that he believes Israel broke the cease-fire agreement, instead of the other way around.
Okay, why would you print this?!?! WHY?! He is admittedly citing unnamed sources!!! They would say: Oh it's giving both sides of the story. The other side doesn't count if they can't even freaking name their sources!! You have no idea how much work I go through on this blog to cite something for evidence on everything I give you! A few weeks back, I heard a really good argument on Glenn Beck, but I couldn't find anything to back it up. I had a moral struggle on whether or not to put it in (I did, with proper apology), but here we have some guy simply blurting out, "Oh they started it" without so much as a news article!! GAH!!!

Third thing: Despite Glenn not giving a source earlier, I did find this story he was talking about: Waistline police may come with universal health care. I encourage you to read the article, but to sum it up: with universal health care comes government controlling costs, which comes with a "waistline police" that determines what you can eat and what you can do. We've already got it going; Cities have banned trans fat, and the government has required healthier choices. And with Universal Health Care, it will only get worse...

Finally, a story that fall under the "that can't be possible" label: "An eccentric loner hoarded so much rubbish he had to BURROW through it to get around his home — then got lost in the maze of tunnels and died of thirst." [The UK Sun] Yes, for those of you who know someone who keeps way too much crap in their house, there is someone worse. "That Can't Be Possible!" Just read the story.

Day 60 - Obama will overwhelm... the sewers

Status: Green. At the super market today, in the cereal aisle, I was telling my little brother about how Organic foods are just a scheme to make more money off of doing less. It just so happened that we happened upon these:

Oh yes, Organic Cereal! Here's the latest addition to the brainwashing! EnviroKidz Organic brand cereal! GLUTEN FREE!! (What the hell is gluten anyway? I've never heard of it before the envirowenies came on the scene and it seems stupid/pushy/very-much-like-carbon-credits-y. I haven't seen any "gluten" on the Nutrition Facts!) Also, 1% of sales is donated to wildlife! (Why just 1%? Why not more? And since when has "wildlife" needed money? Someone get me a picture of a Zebra paying off a Lion and then we'll talk about money going to "wildlife".) Good God... Why do you inflict us with this?!

Anyhow, on to real stuff: Washington DC is fretting terribly over Obama's Inauguration. The crowd coming to the event are predicted into the millions, a number that Washington has never seen before, basically because they've never seen a socialist messiah before. Supposedly there are expected food shortages, housing shortages, as well as slow internet and slow service at every public venue. [Washington Times] [AFP] Oh yes, and a ruling calls for all bars in the DC area to stay open extra late during the Inauguration - supposedly so that people can forget how much Obama has let them down... [DC Examiner] Time for the people to get a taste of the socialism...

Finally, to cheer everyone up immensely with a good chuckle, rock musicians are protesting the US government's use of their songs to torture detainees at Gitmo. Yes, you read correctly, quit re-reading the sentence. The US is using songs from Rage Against the Machine and AC/DC and, yes, Barney (see, you knew that was tourture) are being pumped full volume into the cells of the detainees. Apparently, it's having adverse effects on them as well, especially given that they're banging their heads off the wall, hoping to make it stop. Unfortunatly, not all of the bands take a liking to this, as they've joined forces to protest that the US stop it (together now: "woop-de-do"). Some bands do seem to like the fact that their music is torutuing people though - at least they've got their heads on straight and realize that they don't have to be offended, and that their actually helping us be safer. Now if only "Rage Against the Machine" could understand that, the nitwits... [The Raw Story]

Day 50 - Chrismahanukwanzakah has a new name

Status: Christmasy. Christmas Eve today. Tree is up. Presents are under said tree. Wrapping said presents. How much further back can I go? Anyhow.

For those of you who haven't heard yet, the liberals are making another not-unexpected attempt at overthrowing Christmas with "The Winter Solstice".[Source]

Sorry that there isn't more but it's a big day, being Christmas and all. I'll have more in a few days. There's some stories I have yet to have the time to look up. I'll have time soon, hopefully. Also, my friend says he might want to contribute a few video rants to the record here. More on that later as well.

Merry Christmas!

Day 41 - We Dodge Insults as Well as Shoes

Status: Laughing hysterically to the point where I can barely type. Yes, I heard about the shoe throwing incident today. The full story can be pieced together from several sources. The president made a surprise visit to Kabul, Iraq, to meet with the Iraqi president. At sometime during the press conference, an Iraqi reporter jumped to his feet yelling something like "This is a farewell kiss, you dog" before tossing two shoes in succession at the president. The phrase "You Dog" has been fully confirmed by the media, of course.

What happened next is in dispute, depending on which media source you read. Some say that the president cowered at the shoe throwing [I still have yet to find the article Glenn Beck was referring to]. Some say he dodged it "like Keanu Reeves in The Matrix [csmoniter.com]". Everyone seems to be saying that police rushed in and tackled the dissenter, but no one seems to want to mention the Iraqi reporters that tackled the guy first [video link below]. Only a few also mention how much the other Iraqi reporters apologized for the actions of their colleague [Extra]. After the incident, Bush played off the incident, saying that the man just wanted attention, just like any protester. Others mention, though most fail to mention, that Bush played off the incdent in a joking way saying for example "I didn't know what the guy said, but I saw his sole," [AFP] and "All I can report is it is a size 10" [Slate]. Most of the news stories seem to focus on how the dissenter was treated, about his abuse [NYT] and his subsequent arrest [CNN].

Form your own opinion: you can see the full video from several angles here; YouTube is a wonderful thing.

Anyhow, enough of that, let's talk about the bailout. *Gear Change!* For a while now, I've had no position on the Bailout because I didn't know what it would do. But yesterday, my little brother was doing his history homework. He was learning about Germany between World Wars I and II. It was then that I remembered learning about it in history class last year in college: Germany's economy was completely in the tank because their inflation was so high that hundred dollar German Marks were worth as much as a pebble. In those times, the workers were paid everyday at noon and when the left work. It was then, immediately after they got paid with wheelbarrows-full of Marks, that they ran out and bought food immediately, because if they waited until later, the money they were just paid would be worth nothing. Inflation made it so Germany could not pay off their debts and is the indirect cause of Hitler's rising.

So what is the US Government doing in this day and age? Causing inflation. They are releasing trillions of dollars into the market for nothing. NOTHING! Are they TRYING to drown us? Because despite what news reports like to say, that money is not taxpayer money they're throwing at the failing companies - it's money they're pulling out of their gigantic ass. It's not even money, or wealth per say, it's a representation of wealth. And when they release these trillions of dollars, they will cause inflation to skyrocket, because if there's more representation of wealth in the system without the ACTUAL wealth, inflation occurs! [Huffington Post]

Maybe I'm being a conspiracy theorist at this point and invoking Godwin's Law, but as they say, "History repeats itself". If inflation skyrockets in this economy NOW while Bush (lame-duck though he is) is still in office, everyone will blame the economy on Bush (and they already are, see Huffington Post above). Then, when Obama comes into office, Obama will be hailed as a savior as he attempts (and fails) to lift the economy back on its feet. He will try for several years and when he fails, he will ask to help him continue his efforts past his eight years in office. Then after twelve years, he'll ask for another four. And another four. And another four...

And when Obama starts up the concentration camps for blacks, you'll know where you heard it first.

Day 35 - Ontological Marginalization

Status: about to rant:

So, I was called "Closed-minded" again today. I was called it once or twice before, and usually while I was speaking something about politics or Obama. Well, today, it was during a debate. On YouTube. About pot smoking. Or rather those who smoke pot. The debate can be found in it's original context here, if you really want to see it. Just do a find (Ctrl+F) for my name, Tustin2121, on the second page. And if you're going there, you might as well watch the video too, 'cause it's pretty funny.

But I digress (slightly). Let's give some context. I make a small comment about how the video shows how pot smokers talk about conspiracies. I said something about how pot smokers don't make up conspiracies, they get them from elsewhere and they think they're real. Well, a debate breaks out, and it starts out friendly enough, but soon it degrades into name calling - and I mean very soon. To see the debate, in full (posted here for archival and don't-delete-my-posts! reasons) see the addendum to this post.

Anyhow, eventually someone posted this:
People like you are the reason racism, sexism, and ontological marginalization occur on a daily basis.

So thank you for aiding and abeting the social reproduction of ignorant stereotypes and unjust prejudice.

I hope one day you realize that even the most avid "pot smoker" can never be as closed-minded as you.

Well, as you can probably see, I've won the debate. As soon as name calling this fierce ensues, and no arguments are made, you've won, hands down. And I'm sure she was aiming for my self esteem, but she missed it by a mile and actually made me feel better.

Long story short, I'm tired of people calling me closed minded, so I've change my manner about it. I no longer worry about it, and in fact I am glad they did! I'm happy to be called closed-minded. Because, every time someone is called "closed-minded", then they have conservative values. That's what being closed-minded is! Having Conservative Values! Because, we all know, every time someone is called "open-minded", we always end up with more of our freedom being taken from us. Always!

And in fact, let me take this a step further. Being closed-minded means you have values. Values that you do not want to alter; values you know are right and true by you. Being open-minded means that you'll accept what ever is coming at you without a filter (at least that's what it should mean, but it seems most open-minded people have filters against closed-minded, aka conservative, values).

So, thank you, whatever-your-name-was, thank you for this epiphany. I AM closed-minded and I'm proud to be.

Oh yes, and someone tell me what Ontological Marginalization is, please? It's alphabet soup to me and is probably some buzz word for spreading conservatism. I googled it, and nothing reliable came up, so, whatever. :)

Day 32

Status: Happy, for now. Yes, I'm still here. I didn't get carried away by the secret police... yet. There's just this thing that liberal colleges implement to keep college kids from doing things they want to do. It's called homework and finals. And term papers, which I hate more than I hate Obama's plan for the country. Actually, let's get the middle element out of it, since liberals did it all the time during the Bush Administration: I hate Obama! ANYBODY BUT OBAMA! no, that doesn't sound quite right... ANYBODY BUT BARAK! No, still too many syllables. Obama needs a one syllable name, like Bush does...

Anyhow, I'm about two weeks late on this, but Hillary Clinton has been selected for Secretary of State. Hillary got her her power back, apparently. She does have quite a grip on the state of the nation in this position. I'm sure she's just going to use that power to trade with the Chinese again. And Bill gets his interns again. This will be a fun presidency, especially for Obama. I'm sure he's thrilled. I wonder what Hillary was going to do to him if he hadn't done this - oh wait, I know, she was going to out him on not being a US Citizen! I'm sure he doesn't want that to come out, especially since Bill Richardson has done such a good job at keeping it a secret. [Best video I can find right now]

Beware those who want to work for Obama this presedency - he does not take kindly to ANYTHING that might land him in trouble. For those of you who have not heard, the questionnaire that Obama requires from you has been dubbed "the most intrusive questionnaire ever". For the full questionnaire, you know, in case you want to work for Obama, can be found here. Have fun with that now!

I will be posting more later, including transcripts from my new Line-By-Line program! But right now, I have things to do. Make up your own quote to go at the end of this.

Day 10 11 12

Status: Pissed off. Sometimes the leaping and screaming of liberals just does me in, and I consider myself a considerably patient person. But the name calling has just gone far enough already. YOU GOT YOUR F***ING PRESIDENT!!! WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?!?!?! A letter to the editor today in the college paper complained whole-heartedly how proposition 8 was the work of "fundamentalist Christians, wealthy conservatives, and Republicans". EscUUUUUUse me, but do I look wealthy to you?! I'M A F***ING COLLEGE STUDENT!!! I'LL BE DAMNED IF I CAN PAY TUITION THIS SEMESTER!!! It just pisses me off to no end. No End... [Source]

So, confirmation has come in that Obama, upon finally achieving the Office of the PRESIDENCY, will rescind Bush's Executive Order to allow off shore drilling. This will cause gas prices to rise, the economy to fall, and Nancy Pelosi's and T. Boone Pickens's natural gas market to boom. And the libs said that Bush and Cheney controlled the oil market... [Read up]

Also, speculation is rising on what North Korea actually plans on do with their bombs. None of the bombs seem to want to work properly - that is, guide themselves neatly to their targets. Yet, the US is booting their missile defense system. The real threat and real goal of the North Koreans could be an EMP attack, which would be far more devastating than a conventional attack. Be informed. Stay Vigilant. Read up, and protect yourself.

Cabinet News: Jamie S. Gorelick This is bad... It is simply very bad...

Finally, I'm going to step into the race issue for a moment. As those who have read this may know, I don't care that Obama is black. A black president is in office - so what? Who cares? Well apparently, lots of people cared. But it is my pleasure to inform you that you don't have to anymore. White Guilt is Dead! I have never been a believer in white guilt, nor have I ever experienced it (though I have felt out of place on more than one occasion if I'm in a room of people I don't know and the whole of those other people are black; that however, doesn't count as guilt). So hopefully, people will follow my lead and the lead of several other conservatives across the country and stop feeling guilty for being white. After all, a black president is (going to be) in office now. Though I would have much rather had Condoleezza Rice instead...

And yes, I started this a couple days ago, but I had other things to do and didn't get the chance to finish it until now. Here's to getting an education instead of sitting around at home doing nothing all day and getting paid for it by Obama!

End Log.

Day 8

Status: Still alive. That is, it has officially been one week since Obama has been elected and nothing big has happened yet. This was admittedly completely expected, considering that there there is not Office of the President Elect (Obama, are you listening?).

Meanwhile, the democrats are still trying to steal the senate. In Minnesota, the recount continues in the senate race between Coleman and Franken. Strangely however, the lead that Republican Incumbent Coleman has seems to be slowly waning with each passing day. Supposedly, they're finding more votes for Franken in a warehouse somewhere... [Fox News]

A small town story now: A teacher gets suspended for telling his students that now that Obama is elected, the flag will be changing to the KFC flag and the National Anthem will be changed to "Moving On Up". I find this very racist of him. I have no problems with race: if anyone wants to run for office, be my guest - a person is a person no matter what color skin they have. My concern with Obama is his ideology. So, now that Obama is elected, the flag will be changing to the new Socialist Flag of the USSA and the National Anthem will be changing to a variation of the USSR National Anthem.

I have been working on my political comic, and you can see some sketches up on deviantART. It's not much now, but I did characterize the government as an abusive step-father. That must be worth something.

Finally, I want to apologize to all the veterans out there for the country's election of Obama. I didn't get a chance to do this ON Veteran's Day, so I'm doing it now. I'm sorry, boys, but everything you did for us in protecting freedom will all go to hell in less than two months time. Stay Vigilant. Stay motivated. We will return to Former America someday, even if that someday is after God comes down form heaven, rules the earth for a thousand years, and goes back to heaven again...

End Log.

Day 6

Status: Afraid. I fear for the future, obviously. But what I fear most is what will happen to me. I have never been the POW kind - the kind that John McCain is. If I were ever tortured, or deprived, I would crack faster than Winston in the face of a mask of Rats. I fear what speaking out might do. But what I fear most is the Draft. I support our troops, but I never could be one. And Obama will reinstate the draft. He will offer it, or his "civilian defense force". I can't fight. Nor could I join the ranks of the brown shirt army... Must stay strong...

Obama is not even president yet, and already the world loves us again and he is being compared to Kennedy and "the great presidents of the past". Also, apparently there is now an Office of the President-elect...

Finally, the head of the office of the President-Elect has stated what he thinks of the Constitution. There are several movements now to change it, and there is no doubt, given his statements, that he wishes to change it. What I love about this source is that the purpose of it is to quell conservative attacks. Excuse me while I jump around happily for a moment. [Source: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jOinedzuoh4]
INTERVIEWER: Barack Obama, what are your thoughts on the Declaration or Constitution?
BARACK: You know, I think it's a remarkable document... uh, I think, uh...
INTERVIEWER: Which one?
BARACK: The original constitution...uh...as well, as well as the Civil War amendments, but I think it is an imperfect document, and I think it is a document that reflects... uh... some deep flaws... uh... in... uh... American Culture... the colonial culture [prevalent] at that time. African Americans were not...uh... (first of all they weren't African Americans). The Africans at the time, uh, were not considered, uh, as part of the polity that was... uh... of concern... uh, to the framers. I think that, as Richard said, it was a nagging problem... uh, in the same way that these days we might think of environmental issues or some other problem where you have to balance... uh... you know, cost benefits, as opposed to seeing it as a moral problem involving... uh uh... persons... uh uh uh of moral worth. And in that sense I think we can say that... uh uh, the constitution reflected a enormous blind spot in this culture that carries on until this day and, and uh, and that the framers, uh, had that same blind spot. I-I-I don't think that two views are contradictory to say that it was a remarkable political document... uh, that paved the way for where we are now and to say that... uh... it also... uh... reflected the fundamental flaw of this country that continues to this day.
INTERVIEWER CONTINUES.
I hate to break it to you, Mr. Obama, but given the "but" you had at the beginning of your speech there (underlined above) you were bullshitting us about thinking it is a "remarkable document". Not only that, but you have completely forgotten about two important issues concerning the racism (cleverly not called directly so) you see in the Constitution:
  1. As you unwillingly point out in the beginning, your qualms lie with the "original" Constitution, before the Civil War broke out. Stop living in the past, Mr. Obama: The Civil War and the (conveniently forgotten) civil rights movement have changed the Constitution to rid it of any "racism".
  2. Obama conveniently forgot that the framers to the constitution were at odds over how slavery should be represented. The northern states wanted black people and slaves counted as whole people, while the southern democrats did not. They settled with the three-fifths rule, which, restating point 1, was repealed with the 14th Amendment, ratified during Civil War Reconstruction.
So, Obama, what is the fundamental flaw of the Constitution if "racism" has been removed from it? He will change the Constitution, and it will be for the worse. So help us God.

Day 4

Status: Slow. No Cabinet positions have been announced yet, and only speculation runs abound. However, given some of the speculations, the country is about to go to hell, if no one knew that already. Stay vigilant. Book houses overseas. Canada has bad health care, and Britain is only slightly better. Slightly. If there are any conservatives left out there, know that you are not alone, in presence and in song. If any of you are contemplating suicide, turn instead to The Right Brothers to quell your fears. They've got a few songs, like "Bush was Right" and "The List" that are at least worth the listen. End Plug. Word just got in that President Bush has "taken the high road". Hopefully those reading this know that upon entering the White House in 2000, President Bush found all of the "W" keys missing from all of the computer keyboards in the White House. On Friday, we learned that President Bush directly told his staff NOT to pry all of the "O" keys from the keyboards. Weather anyone agrees with this or not (I certainly don't) it does show how much more integrity Conservatives have, in case anyone was in doubt. I have started on the comic I said a couple days ago I might take up. The initial sketches are being shown on deviantART. More are to come. I didn't even know I could draw like that, and it makes a great alternative to listening to liberal professors in class rambling on about how great Obama is. Stay vigilant. Ignore liberal bile. Hope that "Hope and Change" will not destroy the country. Shatter that Hope. No quote today, I was too lazy. But I'm sure if you looked up something about Mr. Gorbachev tearing down walls, a thought might occur to you as it has to me: when will the iron curtain rise around Former America? End Log.

Day 2

Status: Wary. The president-elect supposedly got his top security status today. It's only a matter of time before he knows everything... and starts messing everything up.

I heard that Pelosi has taken it upon herself to begin the Obama reign with this session of Congress. Soon, things will be implemented on behalf of Obama before he is even inaugurated. I knew this would come, and it scares the hell out of me. Very soon, I will be cut off from the conservative world and then I'll know nothing of what is going on... Must stay Vigilant. Constant Vigilance...

I've decided that for dinner tonight I'm going to order a pizza from Obama Pizza, where they take my order and my money and deliver the pizza elsewhere... Now there's Marxism at its finest.

South Park last night was very good. The reason I love these guys is that they showed both sides of election night. Obama supporters were drunk and rioting in the streets for Obama. McCain supporters were sad and trying to kill themselves. And the candidates themselves were part of Ocean's Eleven... A great twist. I just have to remember that it wasn't really the case... [http://www.southparkstudios.com/guide/1212/]

Finally, I was minded today of a warning against Communism given by former Secretary of Agriculture, Ezra Taft, in 1965. The interesting part of this soundbite begins at around 2:40 :
"As we[I and Mr. Khrushchev] talked face to face, he indicated that my grandchildren would live under communism. After assuring him that I expected to do all in my power to assure that his and all other grandchildren will live under freedom, he arrogantly declared in substance: 'You Americans are so gullible. No, you won't accept communism outright. But we keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you finally wake up and find you already have communism. We don't have to fight you. We'll so weaken your economy until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.' And they're ahead of schedule... in their devilish scheme." --Ezra Taft Benson [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ7LcplfkgY]
This is a warning that was not headed... and I fear never will be until it is far too late...

Day 1

Status: No Socialism yet, except of course the giant following of supporters who swear he's the messiah. But aside from that, nothing yet. Keeping vigilant. Must not waver.

Thinking about a comic. Not a Pitt and Pendulum comic, but a political comic via microcosm. If I do it, I'll post on DeviantArt. It might be fun. Must define a style first.

South Park tonight will have something on the new president-elect. Planning on watching it.

The local college paper has the pres Obama's image plastered on it. It takes up the entire front cover. I'm positive if McCain had won, they would not have done that. They probably would have simply given it a head line. I fear for the republic.

I know if any Obama supporters read this, they'll comment and call me closed minded, or mean spirited. I don't care really. I mean, everyone is cheering for the first Black President. I say, I don't care. After all, Martin Luther King said in his "I Have a Dream" speech, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character." That day has not arrived for America. Not yet.

Day 0 - Election Day

Status: Sad. The country has elected Obama. Huge outpouring of support for him. Popular vote has a small margin. Electoral votes show him ahead by 200+. Big difference, big let down.

I watch sadly as McCain secedes from the race. I watch sadly as Obama makes a wonderful prepared speech. The event is huge. The crowd roars.

All I can think: "So this is how liberty dies... with thunderous applause." ―Padmé Amidala
